Terry V Howard
CEO
Dedicated to the project, Terry Howard has spent 30 years researching the Springfield Community and its Black History in Taliaferro County, Georgia. Seeing a deficit in African-American History, she joined the team in 2016 and was elected CEO in 2019. She continues to look for ways to push the project forward while uplifting and encouraging those in the community to hear their voice someday.

Michael Bowman, with exemplary leadership qualities, was selected as President of the Board in 1997 by Calvin Turner its founding member, educator, and Springfield School graduate) and continues to serve as its Chairman. He attended the Springfield Day Care, graduated from Green/Taliaferro Comprehensive High School, and served as a business manager for many years.
